Before we started this tutorial about installing wordpress, we have to prepare a few things first.

Download Wordress

Source of wordpress could be easily download from http://wordpress.org

Install PHP Web Server

Just go to http://php.net and download PHP Installer which suitable with your environment (Windows or Linux Installer).

Install Mysql Database Server

Visit address below to download mysql sources - http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/

After you finish doing that 3 items follow steps below :

1. Extract wordress source and copy it your webserver directory.
2. Create database for your wordpress (eg. wordpress_db).
3. Set username and for password to access your database.
4. Find, rename and edit file wp-config-sample.php with this configuration
   • Rename file to wp-config.php
   • define(’DB_NAME’, ‘putyourdbnamehere’)
   • define(’DB_USER’, ‘usernamehere’)
   • define(’DB_PASSWORD’, ‘yourpasswordhere’)
5. Installing your wordpress by simply clicking this address : http://yourserver/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php
6. After wordpress is installed on you server, fill out your blog title and your administrator email.
7. When you have finished steps above you will get your username and password. Do not forget to remember that information because it will asked when you want to login for posting, editing and configurating your blog.
8. That’s all folks… The next step is login with your username and password and start blogging
